Verify

Every climb on BitKong is provably fair. That is not a marketing line. It is a mathematical claim, and you can check it yourself, with a calculator if you want to.

How it works

Two seeds and a counter decide every floor:

• Server seed: BitKong's. You see its SHA-256 fingerprint before you climb, and the seed itself is revealed when you retire it.
• Client seed: yours. Change it whenever you like.
• Nonce: counts your climbs on that pair of seeds.

Each floor is the HMAC-SHA-256 of your client seed, the nonce and the floor number, keyed with the server seed. Those bytes decide which stones hide a slip and whether a bonus lands. The whole tower is fixed before your first step, and nothing you pick can change it.

When the server seed is revealed, hash it, compare it with the fingerprint you were given, rebuild the tower floor by floor, and see that it is the tower you climbed. The full walk-through is in Your Seed and Mine.

The verifier

The verifier opens here with the tower: paste your seeds, choose a climb, watch it rebuild. If you ever want a climb checked by hand, write to hello@bitkong.com and the elders will walk you through it.

The point

We cannot rig outcomes. We cannot move a slip after your climb begins. We cannot pick winners. The math is the only authority in the jungle.

The tower is fair, but fairness is not the same as kindness.
